5 individuals have been injured in a two-vehicle crash on State Freeway 1 in Sanson on Sunday night time.
Emergency companies responded to the crash about 6pm on Wellington Rd, a police spokesperson stated.
Three individuals had been reported to have been transported to hospital, they stated.
The highway had been blocked whereas emergency companies responded and was open once more by 6.40pm.
Fireplace and Emergency New Zealand responded with a crew from Bulls and assisted Police and Hato Hone St John with scene safety, a spokesperson stated.
St John responded with two ambulances, one speedy response unit, one first response unit and one supervisor to the scene.
A St John spokesperson stated ambulance officers assessed and handled 5 sufferers from the crash. One was in a reasonable situation and three had been in a minor situation and had been handled on the scene.
