The Federal Inland Income Service, FIRS, has accredited amnesty on penalties and pursuits for excellent tax liabilities.
The chairman of FIRS, Zacch Adedeji, mentioned this in an announcement on Sunday in Abuja.

Mr Adedeji mentioned that the step was in recognition of the challenges that many taxpayers had confronted in settling their tax obligations.
