Wexford native and journalist with BBC Scotland, Nick Sheridan, has handed away on the age of 32 after a brief sickness.
Nick, who lived in Glasgow, had beforehand labored for RTÉ earlier than shifting to the UK to take up a profession with the BBC. He attended St Peter’s School in Wexford and in 2009, was named Younger Irish Filmmaker of the 12 months and travelled to Korea for the Seoul Worldwide Movie Competition.

Nick has been an exquisite colleague. He was a massively gifted journalist, presenter and writer – and a kind of uncommon individuals who mild up the lives of everybody round them.
“Our hearts exit to his dad and mom, his accomplice and to all his household and pals.”
Former first minister Nicola Sturgeon reacted to the information, writing: “So terribly unhappy to learn this. It’s really terrible. Nick was younger, gifted, vivacious, and stuffed with potential. What a horrible, mindless loss. My ideas are along with his household, colleagues and lots of pals.”
