The Police Command in Kaduna State says its operatives have arrested two individuals suspected to have stolen a generator and photo voltaic battery in a Mosque in Kaduna.
Its Public Relations Officer, Mr Mansir Hassan, informed the Information Company of Nigeria in Kaduna on Saturday that detectives, performing on credible data, arrested Basiru Rabiu, one of many suspects, on the Sabon Gari space of Hunkuyi Native Authorities Space.
The assertion indicated that his actions across the Mosque appeared suspicious and he was arrested.
“Throughout interrogation, he confessed to having stolen a generator and photo voltaic battery at Hunkuyi and Nahuce village Mosques.
“Rabi’u stated that he bought the stolen objects to at least one Mansir Umar who we additionally promptly arrested.
“Another reveals have been recovered and investigation is ongoing.
“The suspects will probably be charged to courtroom upon completion of investigation,” Mr Hassan stated.
