President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued a Federal Decree establishing the Worldwide Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council.
Chaired by His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Workplace of Growth and Martyrs Households Affairs on the Presidential Courtroom, the council is chargeable for supervising worldwide humanitarian and philanthropic affairs.

The roles of the Worldwide Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council embrace oversight of the worldwide humanitarian and philanthropic sector, overview and approval of the coverage agenda for worldwide humanitarian affairs, oversight over the preparation and implementation of related initiatives and tasks, creating the long run imaginative and prescient for worldwide humanitarian affairs and basic frameworks for implementation, and forming any needed subcommittees to assist operations.
The council will combine the Joint Strategic Committee for African Cooperation, UAE Humanitarian Committee, Larger Committee for Overseas Support, and Worldwide Well being Advisory Committee.
